This presentation will provide a format to assist with the development of a social/emotional plan that can be implemented in the school and/or community environments. Practical strategies will first focus on identification of ‘hidden curriculum’ issues followed by the development and implementation of practical strategies that can be implemented at school and/or community.
- Participants will be able to identify the communication and social characteristics focusing on both the individuals strengths and challenges
- Participants will be able to identify the ‘hidden curriculum’ in all settings
- Participants will be able to create and implement strategies to address social understanding and social understanding challenges
